It may not be time now, but you need to prepare to change your water filter cartridge soon! Water filter cartridge distribution, both Brita® and Pur,
will be distributed at Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) offices beginning Wednesday, November 4 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at its two locations; 601 N. Saginaw Street, Suite A, Flint and 2727 Lippincott Blvd, Flint. To determine whether it is time to change your water filter cartridge, you first need to know if you own a Brita or Pur water filter system.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is distributing Brita filter cartridges to current MDHHS clients and Flint residents at four
locations. Current MDHHS clients are encouraged to visit either the 125 E. Union St. or 4809 Clio Road MDHHS office location to obtain a free replacement
cartridge. Residents who are not currently enrolled in MDHHS assistance programs should visit the Genesee County Community Action Resource Department offices located at 2727 Lippincott and 601 North Saginaw in Flint.
