Isaiah Oliver Selected As New Vice President At Community Foundation Of Greater Flint


Isaiah M. Oliver, a former administrator at Mott Community College, has joined the staff of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint (CFGF) as Vice President of Community Impact. In this position Oliver serves on the senior leadership team where he is responsible for grant-making and other program activities of the Foundation.

Oliver previously served as Associate Administrator for Workforce, Community and Grant Development at Mott Community College. In this role he worked to secure and manage city, federal, state, and foundation resources to support and promote the college’s community, economic and workforce development, and other strategic initiatives. He was also responsible for operations management of community based sites and centers which offer a range of college and pre-college career pathways certificates, literacy initiatives, employment and training programs.

In the community, Oliver is President of the Flint Community Schools Board of Education, and is a member of the Hurley Medical Center Board of Managers where he serves as Finance and Facilities Chairman. He is a member and youth leader at North Star Missionary Baptist Church, and is past president of Flint Alumni Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Isaiah, a graduate of Central Michigan University, and his wife Shay live in Flint with their daughters Zaiah Rene and Carrington Elyse Oliver.
