In light of the current public health emergency for Flint City water customers, the Al Serra Auto Plaza has designated their service departments as drop-off locations for bottled water. In return for a donation of 12 or more water bottles in an unopened and sealed case or 4 sealed one gallon containers, Al Serra is offering free tire rotations.
“Sam Morrison, one of our Service Advisors here at Al Serra, suggested the bottled water donations as a way help make a difference to people affected by this crisis,” explained Matt Serra, Executive Manager of the Al Serra Auto Plaza. “She’s doing a lot of the leg work, reaching out to Flint Community Schools and area senior centers where our customers’ donations will do the most good.”
According to Serra, individuals who want to help can simply stop by the Al Serra Auto Plaza campus with their donation of bottled water. Those drop-off locations include the Service Departments of Al Serra Chevrolet, Al Serra Buick-GMC, Al Serra Cadillac, Al Serra Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram, Al Serra Subaru of Grand Blanc, Al Serra Kia of Grand Blanc, Al Serra Volkswagen of Grand Blanc and Al Serra Honda of Grand Blanc.
“When a customer drops off their donation, we can get them in for their tire rotation right then or schedule an appointment for a later,” says Serra. “Either way, our award-winning service team will make the process incredibly smooth.”
In order to make an immediate impact on the emergency, the Al Serra Auto Plaza is asking that bottled water donations be made before the end of October.
The Al Serra Auto Plaza is located along S. Saginaw Street just south of Hill Road and is flagship location of the Serra Automotive network headquartered in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Serra Automotive ranks among the top 10 privately-held automotive groups in the nation. The network is currently comprised of 45 automotive franchises, with 31 dealerships in seven states, including Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, New Jersey and Colorado.
